Terms and Conditions - 811Super

1. 811Super Eligibility

  • Account balance should be >=₹4,900 while completing FKYC.
  • On monthly basis, customer needs to credit ₹5,000 or more via single transaction only.
  • Customer would be downgraded to regular 811 (SJIFN) if customer fails to credit ₹5,000 or more for 3 consecutive calendar months.
  • Customer crediting ₹5,000 or more via single transaction only will be considered as an 811Super eligible.

Note:-

  • This program will be offered to NTB customers completing FKYC via biometric mode. In future, if an existing customer is opting for Kotak811, his/her eligibility criteria and program benefits can be different than the standard propositions.

2. 811Super cashback

Eligible customers - 811Super eligible customers spend ₹500 or more via DC

Cashback Construct - Spend ₹500 or more every month with Kotak Debit card (Ecom/(Point of Sales) transactions) and receive ₹100 cashback.

Rules:-

  • 811Super eligible customer should spend ₹500 or more via Kotak Debit card
  • In order to calculate the spend value only following types of transactions are eligible.
  • Virtual Debit Card and Physical Debit Card transactions (E.com/POS)

Important

  • Inter or intra bank fund transfer, ATM cash withdrawal, wallet top up (transfer from 811 Saving Account to any kind of wallet) or any other type of transaction excluding mentioned above will not be considered.
  • Any type of UPI transactions will not be considered as spends

Terms And Conditions For Cashback

  1. This cashback has been extended by Kotak Mahindra Bank to 811Super customers meeting eligibility criteria
  2. Spends will be considered for 6 months from the month of account opening
  3. A customer can get max ₹600 cashback
  4. Max ₹100 cashback will be given per month
  5. To get the monthly cashback, 811Super eligible customer should spend ₹500 or more in a month to get
  6. Any kind of fund transfers or ATM cash withdrawal and wallet top-up will not be considered as spend.
  7. Cashback will be deposited in 30 days post completion of the month under consideration
  8. Cashback eligible customers (winners) will be communicated via SMS/Email on their registered mobile number/Email ID with the Bank or through Push Notification on their Kotak811 App.
  9. The cashback is not-transferable
  10. Participation for the cashback is voluntary.
  11. Any Customer eligible for the cashback shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions, general terms and conditions of the Bank.
  12. Kotak Mahindra bank reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or reduce the cashback
  13. The Bank reserves the right to disqualify any Customer from the benefits under the Offer if any fraudulent activity is observed as being carried out for the purpose of availing the benefits under the offer.
  14. The decision of the Bank in all matters in connection with and incidental to this offer is final and shall be binding on all persons.
  15. Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above cashback or otherwise relating here to shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.

3. Insurance On Platinum Debit Card

  1. Liability for Lost Card Liability will start from the Date of Dispatch of the Card as confirmed by the Bank, whereas for all other sections, it will start from Date of Activation of the Card (means first POS transaction/cash withdrawal by the cardholder)
  2. Insurance provided under the policy shall not be valid for procuring a visa
  3. Coverage on Lost Card Liability and Purchase Protection Sections shall be payable only on PIN based transactions (except for international transactions where PIN is not mandatory)
  4. Claim Submission to Bank to be within a period of 60 days from date of blocking of card
  5. Customer to provide Intimation of Claim within 30 days from date of loss/blocking of card
  6. For skimming/phishing/counterfeit card/internet banking extensions - report to the Bank within 60 days from the statement/billing cycle date. However, this above reporting period will not be applicable if the Bank can establish with documentary evidence that the information of misuse was known to the customer and he/she did not take appropriate steps to prudently block or report the card misuse within 24 hours of such knowledge.
  7. Further, the policy shall cover losses due to skimming/phishing/counterfeit/internet banking frauds extensions subject to a maximum period of 30 days from date of first fraud.
  8. Fraudulent transactions done by person known to the Cardholder are specifically excluded.
  9. The decision of the Bank in all matters is final and shall be binding on all persons.
  10. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this feature shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
  11. Maximum Trip duration for Emergency Medical expenses is 30 days.
  12. For personal accident death cover on Gold / Platinum / Privy Platinum / Signature and Infinite Debit Card, a minimum of 6 transactions (POS/e-Commerce) of ₹500 each in last 60 days is mandatory for cover enhancement
  13. For personal accident death cover, enhancement plan is not applicable for ATM transactions. Only a minimum of 6 transactions (POS/e-Commerce) of ₹500 each in last 60 days is mandatory for both Classic and Platinum and above cards.
  14. Natural Death, Suicide, Drowning in water are not covered under the policy of Personal Accident Death. The policy is only applicable for deaths due to accidents on rail/road.
  15. Air accident coverage, covers customers who have purchased the air tickets by using Kotak Debit Card. The policy is applicable for all the insured card variants except for Classic cards.
  16. In the event of the death of the insured person due to accident (rail/ road), the policy is liable to pay in addition to the insured amount, the transportation of insured person's dead body to the place of residence, a lump sum amount of 2% of capital Sum insured or ₹25,000 whichever is less.
  17. All Claims intimated from 1-10-2014 will follow the NEFT route for payment.
  18. Any type of Insurance on Debit Cards is not applicable for Virtual Debit Cards and to the Spendz Cards.
  19. Nominee of the customer's account from where the Debit Card was issued can only claim the insurance on the card.
