To initiate the Kotak 811 Zero Balance Savings Account online application process, you are required to furnish the following documentation:

Identity and Address Verification:

• Permanent Account Number (PAN) 
• Card Aadhaar

Additionally, you may also need

• Driving License
• Voter ID
• NREGA Job Card
• Letter from the National Population Register

Communication address verification

If your provided address proof lacks a communication address, you can consider the following documents as valid proofs of address. In such instances, it is essential for the customer to update the Officially Valid Documents (OVD) with a communication address and submit it to the Bank within three months of account opening.

Valid documents for communication address proof include

• Utility Bill (dated within the last two months) - This can include bills for electricity, telephone, post-paid mobile phones, piped gas, or water.
• Property Tax Bill or Municipal Tax Receipt (issued within the past year).
• Letter of Allotment for accommodation from an employer, issued by State Government or Central Government Departments, statutory or regulatory bodies, Public Sector undertakings, Scheduled Commercial Banks, financial institutions, and listed companies.
• Leave and Licence Agreement with any of the aforementioned employers. The agreement should clearly display the customer's name as the employee.
• Pension or family pension payment orders issued to retired employees by Government departments or Public Sector undertakings, provided they contain the address.
